Bichons vs. Seals

The ultimate battle..... BICHONS vs SEALS!

So I discovered something today...Bichons look like baby seals.

Here is a thoughtful comparison between my Bichons, Charles Dickens & Mr. Wickham..... vs. a collection of precious baby seals! (aka the result of a dreary Sunday afternoon of looking at sweet baby animal pictures). So... here you go :)

They both like to play in the snow with their brother.....

They both YAWN!

....both get sleeeepy.....

...and then have to take a nap!

....sometimes they have to tip their heads and look coy!

....and sometimes they both have to look like confused cotton balls.

...or contented, fat, fluffy dudes!

.....and at the end of the day they must succumb to their snowy likeness.

......okay I went a little crazy with that.....but GOSH they're cute!

I'll just call it my day-before-classes-start indulgence.

Golden Prom Globe?

OKAY, how much does Julie Bowen's dress from the Golden Globes look like one of my old prom dresses??

They look so similar! I wore this dress about three years ago....must be a pretty good knockoff of designer Reem Acra, who created Miss Bowen's dress for the awards show!

Obviously mine is not nearly as nice, but I thought the similarity was really fun! :)

Baked a LOT of delicious things...

Saw the wonderful Sondre Lerche at 12th and Porter...

...and saw four-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald!

Had four bird's nests in my backyard, and frequently dog-sat some rambunctious terriers...

Mr. Wickham is 6, and Charles Dickens is 12!

4th Annual Pudding War

Launched my crafty business, "Enchanted, Dear," and made LOTS of bows!

Went to the very last Harry Potter premier... 

 Came to a new school!

Went Camping for the first time!

Got a new bike for my birthday :)

Was in four shows!

4th Annual Homemade Christmas Party!

Every year, my best friends and I get together and exchange homemade crafty Christmas gifts! This is definitely one of my very favorite things about the holidays... I have such lovely, talented friends and it's so fun to see what everyone makes!

and the Christmas before... (technically in June!)

  This year I did mug cozies.... basically lil baby sweaters for you tea or coffee!

They were SO fun to make... some were bestached, and some had lil tea bags on them!

Here they all are...brown paper packages tied up with string! Okay.. maybe black.. :)
